Do Jughead And Betty End Up Together In Riverdale Season 5?

He has not the slightest clue of its whereabouts, nor does he have the money to pay off the thousands of dollars of late fees. And so, Percival takes Jughead’s inscribed Baxter Brothers book from his grandfather as collateral in the meantime. And so, Jughead heads down to Sketch Alley for any trace of Doc, who he lent his book to. Instead, he finds a single remaining homeless man named Hank, who reveals that Percival came and told them all to start walking west and not to stop until they hit the ocean.

So they ask to talk to Nana Rose instead, but she’s in a non-responsive state due to dementia. While she is of no help, they do learn from Britta that Jughead’s Rivervale self has written a series of comics about a group of superheroes who resemble them and share their powers. Even more fascinating, the Superteen’s arch nemesis is a man named Percy the Perverse. Narrator Jughead explains that Percy came from a recurring nightmare and that in the final pages from his latest issue, the Superteens are killed by Percy following a final epic battle. When Tabitha asks why he would write something so bleak and dark, he explains that it was part of a deal he made with the devil, Louis Cypher. Jughead has written several stories during his time in the bunker; his most recent story is centered on La Llorona.

Later that night, while working a shift at Pop’s, Jughead asks to interview Tabitha for his book, claiming that it’s about Riverdale and those who inhabit the small town. Tabitha reveals that she left a six figure job in Chicago to run Pop’s. Tabitha would rather become the CEO of her family’s business as opposed to working for one in a big city. The gas pump she installed out front for the truckers driving the night shift is only the start. A group of Jughead’s students then enter the diner, recognizing him as their teacher. While having a drink at his favorite bar, Jughead is approached by a fan of his novel The Outcast.

Season 1, Episode 8 (“Chapter Eight: The Outsiders”)

When Bughead return to the hospital to check on Ben, they find him at the edge of a window, saying he’s going to join Dilton. A worried Betty calls FP, who immediately heads to Penny’s hideout to look for his son. Later, when Betty arrives, FP emerges from the bushes with what appears to be a lifeless Jughead, who’s now missing his Serpent tattoo. (Penny likely carved it out of his arm for revenge on what he did to her.) It’s hard to tell from everyone’s faces, but the look on Betty’s says everything you need to know about Jughead’s condition. After Hal reveals to Betty and Alice that he’s the Black Hood and is arrested by Sheriff Keller, Betty gets a mysterious call from Jughead.

There are actually quite a few characters who would have been a great match for Jughead. Keep reading to find out the 10 people he should have been with — other than Betty. It’s impossible to not love his dry humor and “stupid hat.” For four seasons, Riverdale has made Jughead and Betty out to be the perfect couple. Sure, they’ve had their ups and downs, but at the end of the day, they’re always there for each other. Now, Betty and Jughead will be working together to solve Jason’s murder all the time! Plenty of time to get to know each other and fall in love, basically.

Realizing that Alice has been lying to her, Jughead agrees to go with Betty up to the station, where she confronts her mother whilst Jughead reads her mind and memories. From her, he learns that whatever Alice is hiding, that it’s under the floorboards beneath the dining room table, which the two of them decide to dig up themselves. After uncovering a body of a dead police officer, Jughead returns home, where he begins having flashbacks of his relationship with Betty. However, Tabitha has already tried and failed, reasoning that the bombing is a fixed point in history. When the lights shut off, Jughead decides to siphon the gas from their cars to power the backup generator, though Tabitha fears there may be something in the fog. Jughead exits the diner nonetheless and returns not long after with fuel.

Season 2, Episode 8 (“Chapter Twenty-One: House of the Devil”)

Josie, who is now a multi platinum recording artist, becomes upset when they seem to assume that she came back to town to save Riverdale like “old times.” However, that’s not the case. Josie didn’t have much of a say in the “old times.” She then looks at Jughead, recalling that the last she saw him, mysinglefriend not working he was robbing Pop’s in a Serpent mask. Josie explains that she came to Riverdale to make an album, not cause trouble. Doc then advises Jughead to go home, but he can’t yet because something happened to him in New York that he can’t seem to recall, and he can’t go home until he figures it out.

Hiram then introduces a proposition to unincorporate the town of Riverdale. And unfortunately, Riverdale’s township is dissolved by majority’s vote. The gang gathers outside the school to make their own time capsule.

He drops to the floor behind the bar and asks Tabitha to cover for him. The debt collectors enter moments later in search of Jughead. Tabitha looks over to Pop Tate before informing the two men that she hasn’t seen Jughead. After the two men exit, Pop Tate offers to pay Jughead’s debt, but he respectfully declines, as he doesn’t wish to take Pop Tate’s retirement money.

Maybe Christmas will be held at the Sprouse house with Dylan and his model beau. Lili and Cole took a big step in their relationship when they traveled home to Lili’s family for Thanksgiving dinner. “Quite actually the only thing keeping me sane is @lilireinhart,” he wrote.

Until their reunion at the end of the time-jump episode, they hadn’t seen each other during that time. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, it’s clear that in this case it didn’t… not in that way anyway. Toni Topaz would much prefer dating a woman than a man, but that never stopped her from hooking up with Jughead Jones. Although they didn’t go too far, Jughead should have told Betty about what happened between Toni and him. However, Jughead kept their kiss a secret and got back with Betty. Jughead Jones is an amazing writer, which is what helped him get accepted into the prestigious and mysterious Stonewall Prep.
